SENTENCIADOS

Ya que no respondí de manera adecuada al comentario sobre el killing me,ahora le dedico un post entero,así,de puro generosoXD.

Descubrí a Sentenced de una manera bastante atípica:buscando videoclips.Como ya he mencionado en alguna ocasión,me encantan los videos,algunos son pequeñas obras de arte,otros dan una visión más exacta de lo que el grupo quiere expresar en un tema y otros muestran directos,lo cual siempre se agradece.

El video en cuestion es Noose,y me dejó bastante sorprendido,ya que en mi falta de conocimiento (o más bien en mi atraso),yo asociaba Sentenced con Death-metal.Pero me gustó,y mucho.Tanto música como video (la chica payaso con chupa de cuero es genial! :)),así que me puse a investigar.Entiendase por investigar indagar en web y empezar a pillar música y videos.

Al menos me quedó la cosa de que no iba descaminado del todo hacia lo que Sentenced era,y en efecto en sus comienzos era Death (North From Here,Amok),y muy bueno,además.

También es cierto que da mucha rabia descubrir un grupo que te encanta justo cuando anuncian su último disco y retirada.Para mayor coraje,no conseguí pelas para el metal-way,festival donde daban su última gira,hasta el día mismo del concierto (juer,es que eran 170 euros entre entrada,viaje y demás zarandajas).

Al menos me dí el gustazo de comprar el último disco,The Funeral Album (sí,de vez en cuando compró música de manera legal,pero sólo cuando realmente merece la pena).Y es realmente un album de despedida,con muchos guiños a anteriores trabajos,y un video genial,Ever-Frost.Canción y video explican perfectamente porque el grupo se disuelve ahora;ya han hecho lo que querían hacer,y se retiran dejando un recuerdo perfecto del grupo,en vez de seguir hasta tener tropocientos años y ser los nuevos abueletes del metal.

Y ahora pasemos al tema de canciones favoritas.Una es,como bien sabeis,Killing Me...¡Es que es un temazo!.Espero que llevados por la curiosidad lo hayais escuchado,o visto el video (y con la letra por delante),y ya me dareis o quitareis la razón.

Pero bueno,esta ya la conoceis,y no es la única que destacaría.Vale,Bleed también es muy buena,pero no entra en mi top.Supongo que todo depende de circunstancias personales y el cómo tomárselas.Yo me quedo más bien con No One There y...trrrrtrrtrtrt(redoble de tambores)...Nepenthe!!!.

Nepenthe es del disco Amok,disco que inició el cambio del Death a "algo" más melódico,suave,o como prefirais denominarlo.Por lo tanto,el cantante es todavía Death,pero con la voz mucho más moderada,lo mismo que guitarras y demás (y me encanta).Y la letra,pues bueno,antibalada XD:

Os lo advierto,la parte de "all the tears and the fears and the lies and the..." es tremendamente adictiva,a falta de mejor epíteto.
